Costa Teguise is a pleasant tranquil resort, which has developed over the past thirty years. It has a wide range of sports from the most varied marine activities,such as diving, windsurfing, sailing and deep sea fishing to golf, a water park, squash, tennis, paddle ball and a number of private sports centres. Lanzarote is the fourth largest the Canary Islands, located in the Atlantic Ocean approximately 125 km off the coast of Africa. Lanzarote is an island born out of volcanic activity, large eruptions and solidified lava flows have formed the islands beautiful and unique landscape.
Lanzarote is famed for its mountainous region created from these eruptions, Timanfaya National Park, and it is under the protection of Reserve of the Biosphere by Unesco. It is also an island full of culture, with many interesting sights to visit.
