Costa Teguise
Costa Teguise is the third tourist resort on the island of Lanzarote and is close to the Island's capital of Arrecife on Lanzarote's south eastern shore.The name literally translates into coast of Teguise, Lanzarote´s former capital.
Costa Teguise boasts five beautiful beaches, an excellent selection of bars, restaurants and accomodation- with low rise apartments and four and five star hotels.
If sport is your thing then Costa Teguise is well worth a visit. With several diving centres, wind surfing, sail boarding, golf course and bicycle hire shops all at arms length you can't go far wrong.For families, Ocean Water Park is based just 2km inland from Costa Teguise with water slides, flumes and heated swimming pools.
The main beach, Playa Las Cucharas, is famous for its perfect windsurfing conditions and is a wonderful 600m stretch of white beach where one can bask in the sun.The resort also has the only golf course on Lanzarote.
The nightlife in Costa Teguise is quieter than Puerto del Carmen or Arrecife, revolving around bars and music venues as opposed to nightclubs and discos.
