Costa Teguise
Costa Teguise is close to the Island's capital of Arrecife on Lanzarote's south eastern shore. The name literally translates into coast of Teguise, Lanzarote´s former capital.
Costa Teguise boasts five beautiful beaches, an excellent selection of bars, restaurants and a several shops.
If sport is your thing then Costa Teguise is well worth a visit. With several diving centres, wind surfing, sail boarding, golf course and bicycle hire shops all at arms length you can't go far wrong.For families, Aqua Park is based at Costa Teguise with water slides, flumes and heated swimming pools.
The main beach, Playa Las Cucharas, is famous for its perfect windsurfing conditions and is a wonderful 600m stretch of white beach where one can bask in the sun.The resort also has a golf course and an Aquarium.
The nightlife in Costa Teguise is much quieter than the main resort of Puerto del Carmen, revolving around bars and music venues as opposed to nightclubs and discos.
